thank god for the wonderful weather

i have been quite good

i have been going to the park after work to do a little exercising

my body aches all over, my legs especially

my face is sunburned

but i feel good

i am taking it one day at a time

so far so good

i'll try to sleep early tonight

both my upstairs and and next door neighbors were having some kind of performance last night

i woke up at midnight and couldn't sleep until 3 am

because of all the ruckus that was going on

when i finally drifted to slumber my alarm went off

when i got home i just had to take a nap

i really wish that i didn't have such thin walls

so now my legs feel like jelly

i ran for a little while then i went for a brisk walk for an hour

it was such a nice day outside that it was a crime not to do something

went out for a walk today

the sun has finally made an appearance after a morning of pouring rain

i went to the library and borrowed a lot of books

i miss reading

i go through these phases that i devour books for months and then all of a sudden i just don't feel like reading

february and march were like that but i think april is going to be my "i prefer to read" month

today was one of those days where you just throw your hands up in the air and do a rain dance

the elusive sun just refuses to make an appearance

my children are just too wound up

today i had to keep ringing the bell just to remind them to lower down their voices

i had to keep on presenting how to carry materials to the table

there were a lot of tattle tellers and a lot of whining

i can't blame them tho

all this stormy weather is making all of us insane

mr. sun you have had enough rest

now it's time to work your magic and make my life a little bit easier.

my throat is still scratchy and i refuse to admit that i have a cold

friend is sick too and according to him he never got sick until he met me

well, that's the price he has to pay for being friends with a primary montessori teacher

everyone should watch this documentary

it made me think a lot of how i was raised

it made me feel that if someday when i have my own children i would make it a conscious effort not to make the same mistake parents of today are guilty of

it would definitely change your perception of what success is and how damaging it is to project our own dreams and ambitions on our children.

it is very easy to forget that these are individuals with their own thoughts, opinions and dreams

anyway if you have a chance please watch it and don't forget to spread the word and pass it on.

i managed to sweet talk our building manager to change my light bulbs

so now my room looks brighter and i don't have to feel my way in the dark when i enter my apartment at night

waiting in vain

went directly to the DMV after work

i got lost trying to find it, the parking was horrible plus the weather was just dreary

i spent almost 2 hours waiting for my number to be called, i didn't bring a book so i just sat there twiddling my thumbs and observing people.

when my number was finally called i felt like breaking out into a song.

i finished my transaction in 10 minutes, yes i spent more time waiting

there is something really wrong with that picture

anyway, i can't complain now my car is "registered" and i am not driving around with an expired sticker

i can breathe easier now, i won't have heart palpitations everytime i see a cop

parent teacher conferences on thursday and friday

i will be gabbing and smiling from 7 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon

i have a feeling by the end of the day i will just be absolutely exhausted

but then i think that any day away from my little hellions always feels like a mini vacation
